Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis in Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with the highest distinction) in Theatre and Communications. When she moved into Los Angeles, she became involved with theater arts and started acting as well as choreographing over twenty-one musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title parts in Los Angeles' award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to land television as well as film roles, while she was studying the art of improvisation with The Groundlings. She also joined Theatre West. The combination of her unique voice, and small size enabled Kelly to come up with many different characters. She's best known as Naomi Watts's evil Samara from The Ring 2, but her most famous role was as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a TV Land series regular from 2011 to 2015, starring as an attorney in the daytime as well as an evening party-goer. Alyssa Mio's smart sexpert Little Sister was Kelly's main role in ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW featured her as an exhausted suburban mom. She sang in soprano for many cartoons, including Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. In recent times, she was as the lovable, dim-witted Cloud 9 Employee on NBC's famous comedy Superstore. The couple has two children and lives in a quiet house. She enjoys writing or sew as well as volunteer in school.
