The controversy got absurd that she even went to the Jay Leno show "The Tonight Show" to debate the issue. Graham became a well-known plus size model. Grande started performing and singing as a teenager. In 2008, she won a part in the Broadway show 13 before she began to appear on TV in smaller roles. Her role on Victorious which was a Nickelodeon television show in 2010 was her first big breakthrough. The show featured her as Cat Valentine a teenage girl who was attending a performance art school. She starred in Sam & Cat, a spin-off series that aired from 2013 to the year 2014.
