Annabelle Gurwitch is an American comedian, author and television host most recognizable from her stint as hostess on Dinner and a Movie on TBS and activist associated with environmental issues and secular humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times bestseller and critically acclaimed actress is The New York Times's Top-Seller Author of her memoirs Wherever You Are There Then I'm Sure It was a long time ago that you tried to Say Tomato When you say Fired, I Say Shut up and Fired. The book was also featured on a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was a long-time host of TBS's Dinner & a Movie and TV viewers will remember her unforgettable appearances on shows such as Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown as well as hosts of the sustainable series WA$TED which airs on The Planet Green Network. Regular TV appearances are on PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher or NPR. Additionally, she has written op eds, which appear in the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter satires as well for The New Yorker & McSweeneys.
