Colson Kelly or Machine Gun Kelly is best well-known for his distinctive style he uses to rap. Baker was born the 22nd of April, 1991 in Houston Texas U.S. into the family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents, who were two missionaries at the time, took him on numerous trips throughout his childhood days. The father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed while the mother Sonia Alane left them when at the age of nine. Baker's father moved together with his son to Denver and they lived at the uncle of his father. Baker had to endure bullying from fellow kids because of his poverty. As he entered sixth grade, Baker started to take up rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on April 22, 1990, in Texas. His music is a blend of contemporary hip-hop, alternative and rock. Baker has released four mixtapes over the years between 2007-2010, prior to joining Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper, who delivers songs as quickly as bullets, saw a meteoric climb in late 2011, after he shifted to self-publishing mixtapes instead of working with respected labels. The fame of this Cleveland rapper rocketed when the release of his first mixtape at the end of 2011.
